Several area schools are celebrating Homecoming this week.
At. St. Anthony High School, this week’s theme is “A Night in Disguise!” with a masquerade ball theme.
Here’s a look at the 2024 Homecoming Court at St. Anthony:

The Homecoming game will be Friday night as the Bulldogs host St. Elmo/Brownstown. The King and Queen will be crowned between the JV and varsity games.
The Homecoming dance will be Saturday night.

This is also Homecoming Week at Teutopolis High School. This year’s theme is “City of Stars”.
The retiring Queen is Olivia Hemmen, daughter of Tim and Linda Hemmen. The retiring King is Hunter Stewart, son of Nick and Lindsey Stewart.
Freshman attendant is Ella Willenborg, daughter of Tim and Emily Willenborg…sophomore attendant is Gabby Tegeler, daughter of Jeff and Maria Tegeler…junior attendant is Cecilia Mette, daughter of Michael and Michelle Mette.
Homecoming King candidates are Liam Collins, son of Greg and Rachel Collins…Carter Hoene, son of Jamie and Crystal Hoene…and Dawson Hoene, son of Bruce and Jodi Hoene.
Homecoming Queen candidates are Isabella Heuerman, daughter of Woody and Kelly Heuerman…Claresa Ruholl, daughter of Clem and Kate Ruholl…and Paige Swingler, daughter of Bill and Ann Swingler.
The Homecoming game will be held on Tuesday, as the Wooden Shoes play host to Paris. The JV game will begin at 6pm. The coronation ceremony will take place between the JV and varsity games.
The Homecoming dance will be held on Saturday at Bishop Hall. Tickets are being sold by the Student Council in the mornings before school and during lunch hour. The parents and community are asked to view the coronation at the game rather than at the dance.

This is also Homecoming Week at Stewardson-Strasburg High School, where the theme is “The Homecoming of the Decade”.
The theme each day is Musical Monday, Tie Dye Tuesday, Where Will You Be Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, and Fandom Friday.
The Homecoming Game will be played on Friday night against Shelbyville. A fresh/soph game will be played at 5pm with JV and varsity action following. The Homecoming Coronation will take place after the conclusion of the varsity game.
