SULLIVAN — Effingham St. Anthony captured a 46-27 win over Sullivan in freshman/sophomore boys basketball competition Thursday.
The Bulldogs edged out to a 10-7 opening quarter lead as Jonny Gannaway scored five points and Cooper Sehy hit a three-pointer.
St. Anthony held a 26-16 halftime lead. Gannaway added on five points while Jameson McAllister and Camden Bloemer finished with four each. Freddie Jansen connected on a three-pointer.
Gannaway scored seven of the nine third quarter points as St. Anthony led 35-21.
Gannway finished with 19 points on eight field goals, two three-pointers, and one of two at the line.
