ALTAMONT — Teutopolis and Altamont split victories in junior high volleyball aciton Tuesday evening.
The Wildcats won the seventh-grade match. They lost the opener 25-13 but came back with 25-22, 25-15 victories to even their record at 10-10.
Altamont was led by Teegan Burrus and Payton Ort with four aces each. Burrus had eight assists. Ort and Mia Totten led in kills with four each. Ort had two blocks. Kinze Polk led in digs with three.
In the eighth-grade match, Teutopolis was a winner 25-9, 25-13. Jenna Beckman led in kills with 12. Lily Tegeler had 10 assists. Addie Caulkins, Brianna Westendorf and Rose Brummer had three digs each. Faith Rutholl led in aces with four.
Alyssa Ruholl led Altamont with one ace, one kill and one block and Summer Martin had two digs.

Jasper County was a winner in both seventh- and eighth-grade play over Casey-Westfield Tuesday.
Jasper County won the seventh-grade match 25-22, 26-24 and is now 9-4 on the season. Jansen led in aces with four and assists with six. Briscoe had six kills and one block. Kuhl and Lingafelter also had one block. Ginder led in digs with three.
In the eighth-garde match, Jasper County won 25-20, 25-11 and is 15-1.
Meinhart led in aces with five and kills with three. Kuhl also had three kills. Stanley led in assists with seven. Copper had four digs. Kuhl had two blocks.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and Effingham Sacred Heart each nabbed a victory Tuesday evening.
CHBC was a winner in seventh-grade play, 26-24, 23-25, 25-11.
Anna Hart led in kills with seven. Hadley Pope had 15 aces and 22 points. Valentina Doty led in assists with five. Alyson Lawrence had one block and five digs.
In the eighth-grade match, Sacred Heart was a winner. CHBC won the opening set 25-22 but the Shamrocks came back with 25-18, 25-16 scores for the match.
CHBC was led by Harper Lilly with five kills and two blocks. Natalie Tucker led in aces with three, assists with seven and points with eight. Lyric Bennett led in digs with eight.

North Clay (Louisville) was a winner over Dieterich in both matches Tuesday evening.
North Clay won the seventh-grade contest 25-13, 25-14 to improve to 8-0 in the National Trail Conference and 17-0 overall.
In the eighth-grade match, North Clay was a winner 25-12, 25-12. The homestanders are 7-1 in the NTC and 13-5 overall.
