TEUTOPOLIS — Teutopolis High School tallied an 8-1 victory over Flora in tennis competition Monday.
The Wooden Shoes swept singles play. Colin Habing was a 6-0, 6-4 winner at the top spot. Oliver Lee fought off Kyler Dennis in the No. 2 spot, 6-1, 6-7 (9), 10-7.
Will Lewis was a 6-2, 6-2 winner while Paul Huber took a 7-5, 6-3 win. Owen Heuerman lost the opening set 6-2 but came back to take the match at No. 5, 6-4, 10-8. Tommy Habing rounded out the singles wins at No. 6, 4-6, 6-3, 10-3.
In doubles play, Lee and Thompson won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1. Habing and Lewis went 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3.

Winnings singles for the Warriors were Avery Tutewiler, Kellen Sullivan, Alex Hancock, Wade Winnett, Kaiden Spraker and Gavin Ridge.
In doubles play, Hancock and Winnet were 6-0, 6-0 winners at No. 1. Tutewiler and Ridge combined for the victory at No. 2, 6-0, 6-4. Spraker and Fann finished out with 6-1, 6-0 wins.
