Teutopolis village board members got good news on a couple of transportation improvement projects at their recent meeting.
The Board passed a resolution for funding for a cast iron water line grant. The Village is seeking funding for replacement of the cast iron line.
Board members also heard that the village will be receiving $40,500 in TARP funds to help fund some of the cost of the Pearl Street reconstruction project.
The Teutopolis board approved the appointment of village officials for the new fiscal year that begins May 1. While most officials are being re-appointed, there is one change. Serena Buzzard has been named the new village treasurer.
