CASEY — Casey-Westfield played host to Neoga in high school baseball action Friday and blanked the visitors, 10-0.
The Warriors opened with a 3-0 first inning lead then tacked on single runs in the second, third and fourth before finishing out with a four-run fifth.
Casey-Westfield had 10 hits led by Chase Whaley with three singles, Hayden Lovell with a single, double and an RBI, Daryn Hupp with two singles and two RBI, Jackson Julius with a double and an RBI and Rylie Hines-Gilbert with a single and an RBI.
Neoga’s three hits, all singles, came off the bats of Matt Propst, Landon Titus and Grady Haarman.
Lovell threw the three-hitter with two walks and two strikeouts for the win on the mound.
Neoga drops to 11-5 on the season and will be back in action Tuesday at Effingham.
