St. Anthony Bulldogs boys basketball coach Cody Rincker was the guest speaker at the Effingham Noon Rotary Club meeting on April 2.
Rincker took his Bulldogs to the state tournament for the second time this past season. The Bulldogs finished fourth this season. St. Anthony won the state championship under Rincker’s leadership in 2017.
Rincker also serves as principal of St. Anthony Grade School. He shared about his work as a coach and a principal, as well as a husband and father.
The Rotary weekly program chairman was Steve Raymond.
The Rotary weekly student guest was Emma Lee Myers, daughter of Jonathan and Aubrey Myers and a senior at St. Anthony High School. Emma Lee has a number of interests, including working on her truck. She is headed to St. Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana, to study Pre-Med and Biology.
