Cumberland County board members have approved adding another camera for the southwest corner of the courthouse in Toledo. Carrie Verdeyen asked the Board to add the camera due to vandalism related to the Veterans Memorial under development on the square.
The Board approved the tax levy for Extension; re-appointed Kathy Pattenaude as commissioner of the Housing Authority; and amended the liquor ordinance to add a fourth Class A license to allow the sale of beer, wine and liquor for Hidden Oak Vineyards.
Board members approved an amended wind energy ordinance to prohibit any device from being located within 1.5 miles of a municipality, and amended an intergovernmental agreement extending the Toledo Ambulance Service area from Roads 800 East to 500 East. Two engineering agreements were approved with Stone and Waggoner of Charleston. The agreements cover a culvert in Spring Point Township and a bridge in Spring Point Township.
Approval was given to the sale of a vehicle by the sheriff’s office and the purchase of a used squad car.
