DIETERICH — Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg and Dieterich played to a 0-0 opening inning tie but the Hatchets ended up putting this game to rest over the next four innings by a 13-0 count Tuesday.
Windsor/Stew-Strasburg’s Samantha Hayes kept the Maroons off the basepaths. She gave up only two hits, no walks while striking out three.
Meanwhile, the Hatchets were running the bases with 11 hits. Ellie Wittenburg put together two singles, a double and drove in four runs. S. Hayes added two singles, a triple and an RBI. Kendra

Altamont tallied seven runs in the second inning and went on for a 9-1 victory over Cumberland Tuesday.
The Indians finished with nine hits and were aided by five Cumberland errors.
Meanwhile, Grace Lemke was holding the Pirates in check on the mound. She went all seven innings, allowing one run on two hits. She did not give up a walk and struck out 19.
Kennedi Schultz hit a home run and had two RBI while Lemke tagged a home run and had four RBI. Sophia Long finished with two singles and an RBI and Cecilia Pearcy had two singles.
Cumberland’s two hits, were a triple by Ashton Tolen and a single by Jade Carr.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City edged out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning and went on for a 10-5 win over North Clay/Clay City Tuesday.
The Bobcats finished with 10 hits and were aided by North Clay/Clay City with seven errors.
CHBC was led by Birgen Schlanser with three singles and an RBI, Bryleigh Prater with two singles and three RBI, Ryleigh Sarver finished with two singles and an RBI and Addison Wasson added a double. Jordyn Wright finished with an RBI.
Wasson went the distance on the mound. She gave up five runs on four hits, four walks and struck out 12 in the win.
North Clay/Clay City’s hits were singles by A. Romack and Ava Fleener with a single and an RBI each. Lauryn Snell added two RBI. The Cardinals fell to 0-4 on the season.

The Eagles had eight hits in the contest led by Sally Mahaffey with a solo home run, Allie Stanley with a single and double, Addy Odell with two singles, Camryn Martin with a single and two RBI and Audrie Reich and Lexie Ghast with a single and an RBI.
Karly Deckard went the distance pitching. She gave up one hit, no walks while striking out six.

Odin/Patoka edged out to a 2-1 opening inning lead then tallied nine runs in the second.
St. Elmo/Brownstown made a comeback bid with four runs in the fifth, seven in the sixth and one in the seventh but couldn’t get ahead.
Both teams had 12 hits. Dayana Haslett led the way with four singles and an RBI for SEB. Macey Sapp finished with two singles, a double and an RBI. Addison Koonce added a double and an RBI, Alivia Claycomb two singles and an RBI and Alexis Holliday a single and two RBI.
Odin/Patoka was led by G. Belcher with a single, two doubles, a triple and two RBI and B. Hill with two singles, a double and four RBI.
Holiday was the winning pitcher with three strikeouts.

Wooden Shoe pitchers gave up 17 walks and T-town finished with six errors.
Teutopolis had four hits, all singles by Chloe Hoene, Olivia Wermert, Mallory Bloemer and Kera Hartke. Wermert had two RBI and Malea Helmink finished with one RBI.
