More than three dozen vehicles were a part of multiple traffic crashes along Interstate 70 in Cumberland County Sunday.
Illinois State Police report that the crashes began in the eastbound lanes about five miles east of Greenup about 1:30pm. I-70 was closed in both directions, but has been re-opened since just after 3am today.
A total of 38 vehicles were damaged, but only one injury was reported.
