Altamont city council members purchased a Dura Patch machine to aid with street maintenance work at this week’s meeting.
The machine was acquired for $14,000. Until now, the County has done the work for the City that this machine will handle, but having the machine will give the City some more flexibility as to when the work can be done.
Council members also heard that bids have gone out for water main materials. The bids are due by January 23.
