Beecher City school board members Monday approved AKRA Builders to start work on a five-classroom addition at Beecher City Grade School.
The project will include restrooms and renovation of the existing restrooms at a total cost of $1,868,054.
The Board also passed the fiscal year tax levy; approved the deposit and investment of $500,000 into a 12-month CD with First State Bank of Beecher City; and approved an intergovernmental agreement with Cumberland School District for speech pathologist services for both districts.
