St. Elmo/Brownstown played Edinburg to a 10-10 opeinng quarter tie in high school boys basketball Wednesday evening. But, Edinburgh came back with a 22-14 second quarter to lead 32-24 at halftime and went on for a 28-21 second half for a 60-45 victory.
The Eagles were led by Graiden Wilhour with six field goals, four of those three-pointers, for 16 in the contest. Also in double figures was Lowell Wilhour with 11.
G. Wilhour led in rebounds with eight while Trenten Monnet added five. G. Wilhour and Vincent Plum led in steals with four each. L. Wilhour had four assists and Plum three.
St. Elmo/Brownstown drops to 9-8 on the season and returns to action Friday at Mulberry Grove.
