Class 7-3A Casey-Westfield Roosevelt Sectional
St. Elmo's attempt at a berth in the Class 7-3A State Tournament fell short Monday evening.
St. Elmo lost the opener to Robinson Nuttall 25-17 but came back with a 26-24 victory to send the match into the third contest. Robinson Nuttall pulled out the victory 26-24 to improve to 21-0 and head to the state tournament.
St. Elmo ends its season with a 17-2 record.
Class 7-1A Stewardson-Strasburg Sectional
Newton St. Thomas was set to play Oakland Lake Crest at the Stew-Stras Sectional. No score was reported.
Regular Season
St. Peter Lutheran defeated Frnaklin Park in regular season play Monday in two games, 25-20, 25-22.
The Saints improve to 17-1 on the season.
