ALTAMONT -- Altamont and Dieterich split victories in junior high volleyball action Tuesday evening.

Dieterich was a 25-23, 25-20 winner in seventh-grade play. Altamont drops to 1-3 in the National Trail Conference, 1-5 overall.

In eighth-grade action, Altamont won 25-19, 25-12 to improve to 4-0 in the conference, 4-2 overall.

At Charleston

Charleston handed Teutopolis two losses. Charleston was a 25-12, 25-15 winner in seventh-grade play.

In the eighth-grade contest, Charleston won 25-21, 25-12.

T-town is back in action Thursday at St. Elmo.

Teutopolis -- Grimes, 1 ace; Michels, 2 kills, 1 dig; Frey, 1 ace; Hemmen, 1 ace, 1 kill, 1 dig

Cumberland and Jasper County split victories. Cumberland claimed the seventh-grade match 25-20, 25-22.

In eighth-grade action, Jasper County was a 25-22, 25-21 winner.
