Cumberland Wins Over Palestine-Hutsonville

Cumberland won over Palestine-Hutsonville Tuesday 25-16, 25-19.

For Cumberland: Ashley Drake three kills and one ace; Kamisha Holsapple eight points, three aces, one dig and 19 assists; Kassidy Hunt seven kills, one block, seven digs and one assist; Melissa Myers seven kills, one point and one ace; Bridgett Nickles one kill, three points, one ace and five digs; Jordan Plummer four digs; Allison Rhoden one point and one dig; Micah Seibert three points; Olivia Titus four kills, nine points, four aces and seven digs.

Cumberland now 15-9 on the season; 6-4 in the Little Illini Conference.

Palestine-Hutsonville won the JV game 25-20, 21-25, 25-5.  For Cumberland: Kaylee Carlen one kill, four points, two aces and five digs; Mattison Green two points, one ace, three digs and four assists; Gabby Barnes two digs; Jenna McMechan two kills, 12 points, five aces and six digs; Shaina Oakley six points, three aces and 12 digs; Maekayla Sowers three digs; Leah Paul six digs and one assist; Becca Myers two kills.

The Cumberland JV record is 3-12.
