EHS Places Third In Bronze Flight

Effingham High School placed third in the Bronze Flight of the Mount Pulaski Volleyball Tournament Saturday.

The Hearts fell to Bloomington Central Catholic 25-19, 25-23 then lost to Williamsville 25-12, 25-19. The squad then won over Lena Winslow 25-22, 25-20 and beat Porter 27-25, 25-21. That placed them in the Bronze Flight where they lost to Eastland 21-25, 25-16, 25-17 to finish third.

They finished 11th overall in the 16-team tournament and is now 7-7 on the season.
