Dieterich Falls to Oblong

OBLONG -- Dieterich traveled to Oblong and fell in a close high school volleyball contest Monday evening.

Oblong claimed the opening game 27-25 then came back to take the match with a 29-27 win. Landriah Hardiek led Dieterich in points with 11 and had two aces. Shelby Wendling chipped in with two aces and led in assists with 13. Candace Niemerg had seven digs, six kills and two blocks. Madison Boerngen chipped in with two blocks.

Dieterich is now 1-1 on the season.

In junior varsity play, Oblong won 25-11, 25-9. Dieterich drops to 0-2.
