Allison Kowalke Headed to William Woods for Tennis

St. Anthony High School senior Allison Kowalke has announced plans to attend William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri to play tennis.

Kowalke, the daughter of Alan and Jennifer Kowalke, plans to major in American Sign Language. Allison said she read a book about ASL her mother had and that sparked her interest. She said she likes learning languages, and also enjoys helping others and ASL will provide that opportunity.

Allison said she's excited about the coach at William Woods and his energy. She said it doesn't really matter whether she plays singles or doubles in college. She's also thankful for the work of her St. Anthony coach Darlene Esker and the team atmosphere she fosters at St. Anthony.
