St. Anthony Tennis Awards Presented

Tennnis award winners for St. Anthony High School were, left to right, Emily Kowalke, Caroline McDevitt, Allison Kowalke, Sharon Dong and Payton Sehy.

Effingham St. Anthony High School awards were presented for girls tennis.

Letterwinners were seniors Allison Kowalke, Caroline McDevitt, Payton Sehy, Sharon Dong, Reese Jones and Kyra Swearingen; juniors Ali Adams, Grace Karolewicz and Elizabeth Kabbes; sophomores, Madeline Brown and Laura Schmidt and freshman Emily Kowalke.

Awards were given to Allison Kowalke, No. 1 player in both singles and doubles; Caroline McDevitt, No. 1 doubles; Payton Sehy, Senior Tennis Bulldog; Sharon Dong, most improved and Super Freshman, Emily Kowalke.

There was no state this year but state qualifiers were Allison Kowalke and Caroline McDevitt in doubles and Emily Kowalke in singles.
