Bulldogs Take Third at Springfield Tennis Invite

SPRINGFIELD -- Effingham St. Anthony High School captured third place at the Springfield Sacred Heart Griffin Tennis Invitational Saturday.

Bloomington Central Catholic captured the championship with 36.5 points followed by Niles North 30 and St. Anthony 29 in the top three.

"We had a very good tournament," said St. Anthony Coach Darlene Esker. "We had four third place finishes and a fourh and finished third out of 16 teams."
