The development to be known as Emerald Acres will open December 6 in Mattoon.
Two of those working on the sports and retail complex along I-57 at the Illinois 16 interchange, Blake Pierce and Brittany Murphy, presented information to the Effingham Noon Rotary Club at their meeting December 4 about Emerald Acres. Mike Kirchhoff served as Rotary weekly program chairman.
