High School Tennis Practices Set

ST. ANTHONY

-- There will be an organizational meeting for girls interested in competing on the St. Anthony tennis team Wednesday, August 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at St. Anthony High School. Team schedules, team results and guidelines will be distributed. Practice will begin August 8. Players must have had a sports physical before being allowed to practice. EFFINGHAM

-- Effingham High School girls tennis will begin practice Wednesday, August 8 at 7:30 a.m. at the high school tennis courts. All interested girls, freshmen through seniors, are eligible to play. A tennis racket, hand towel and water bottle are recommended.

TEUTOPOLIS

-- Girls tennis practice has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 8 from 8 a.m. to noon. Meet at the Teutopolis Grade School tennis courts ready to play. Athletes must have all paperwork in or you will not practice.

NEWTON

-- Girls tennis practice will begin Wednesday, August 8. Times are 8-10 a.m. Meet at the Newton High  School tennis courts.
