GIRLS PREP LEAGUE

Spectrum Screen Graphics stepped out to a 7-0 first inning lead and went on to down Effingham Truck Sales 11-6.

Both teams had two hits. Marlee Nolan picked up the pitching win.

In the second contest, Joe's Pizza & Pasta took an 11-0 first inning lead and went on for a 13-4 win over Remax. Taylor Armstrong pitched the one-hitter. Joe's had four hits.

GIRLS MINOR LEAGUE

Martin's IGA Plus and First National Bank of Dieterich played to a 5-5 tie due to the time limit. Martin's took a 4-0 lead in the top of the second but First National Bank tallied five runs in the bottom of the second. Martin's then tied the score in the third.

In the second contest, Chesnut Family Music had a four-run first and an eight-run second for a 12-4 win over Get Fit. Elizabeth Meinhart pitched the two-hit victory.

In the third game, Murphy USA held a 6-1 lead in the second and went on to tally a 9-4 win over Evergreen Mini Golf. Riley Guy was the winning pitcher. Lucy Fearday pitched a no-hitter in the loss.
