EHS Softball Players Presented Awards

Effingham High School softball players were presented awards at the EHS Cafetorium.

Winning the Spirit award was Reanne Thies. The Pitcher of the Year award went to Aly Armstrong. Skyler Schafer and Carsyn Fearday were Co-Rookies of the Year.

Armstrong also claimed the Most Valuable Player awards. Kaylee Tonn won the Best Defense award. Hope Collier captured the Best Hitter award.

Junior varsity awards went to Payton Koester for Most Improved, Abbi Burgess for Best Attitude, Natalee Swafford for Effort and Kaitlyn Kinkelaar for Hearts award.

Letterwinners were Thies, Collier, Tonn, Madison Weis, Jenna Wright, Shelby Borries, Armstrong, Alissa Kersey, Fearday, Schafer, Laurn Douthit and Chloe Funneman.

The Effingham High School softball banquet was held recently at the EHS Cafetorium.  Varsity award winners are, left to right, Hope Collier (best hitter), Aly Armstrong (Pitcher of the Year, MVP), Kaylee Tonn (Best Defense), Carsyn Fearday (Co-Rookie of the Year), Skyler Schafer (Co-Rookie of the Year) and Reanne Thies (Spirit award).

Named All-Apollo Conference were, left to right, Kaylee Tonn (Second Team), Hope Collier (First Team) and Aly Armstrong (Pitcher).

Winning junior varsity awards were, left to right, Payton Koester (Most Improved), Kaitlin Kinkelaar (Heart award), Natalie Swafford (Effort award) and Abbi  Burgess (Attitude award).
