Effingham St. Anthony picked up a second straight victory by beating Robinson 13-10 in softball competition Thursday at Bulldog Field.
Robinson held an 8-7 lead after three innings and 10-8 after four. The Bulldogs came back with a run in the fifth and took the lead with four in the sixth.
Makayla Walsh had a double, home run and three RBI while Jenna Woltman and Hunter Niebrugge had a single and double each. Kate Richards had two singles, a triple and an RBI and Megan Nuxoll and Morgan Gardewine had two singles each. Nuxoll had two RBI and Gardewine one.
Woltman picked up the pitching win on a 10-hitter with six walks and three strikeouts.

Altamont edged Greenville 4-3 by scoring all four runs in the third inning. Greenville tallied single runs in the third, fifth and seventh.
Altamont's Deidre Ledbetter pitched a five-hitter with five walks and 11 strikeouts. The Indians had eight hits in the contest led by Brooke Burns with a double, triple and an RBI. Six other players had a single each.

Newton stepped out to a 2-1 opening inning lead then tallied three more runs in the second and that's all the runs that were scored in the contest for a 5-1 victory.
The Eagles had eight hits led by Fore with a single, triple and two RBI and Stanley with two singles.
Dieterich was led by Vahling with two singles and an RBI.
