T-town Drops Regional Soccer Match

Rosamond Faith Bible Christian Academy continues to knock off higher seeds in the Class 1A Effingham St. Anthony Soccer Regional.
Rosamond, seeded ninth, defeated eighth-seeded Pana before facing No. 2 seeded Teutopolis Tuesday evening and taking a 2-1 victory.
That moves the squad into the championship match Friday against the winner of today's match. That contest will feature Effingham St. Anthony, seeded fifth, against No. 3 Raymond Lincolnwood at 4 p.m.
Class 1A Altamont Regional
Top-seeded Newton will take on No. 7 Altamont today at 5 p.m.
The winner advances to the championship match Friday against either No. 4 Staunton Co-op or No. 6 Hillsboro. Those two will square off today at 7 p.m.
