The St. Anthony Bulldogs picked up a 2-1 victory over Hillsboro over the holiday weekend.

Bulldogs Coach Martin Reyes said the key player of the match was senior Braeden Quandt. With two minutes left in the first half, Quandt stole the ball, dribbled the ball with a defender in his back and scored the first Bulldog goal. 

Hillsboro scored with 34 minutes left in the second half. 

With 15 minutes left, Quandt delivered a free kick to the goalie area for junior Reilly Ashton to head the ball to the back of the net.

Junior Jack Elder had 10 saves in goal for St. Anthony.

The Bulldogs won 7-0 in JV action.

Jack Elder scored twice. Also scoring were freshman Kevin Gonzalez, sophomore Wade Lawrence, sophomore Landon Adams, junior Reilly Ashton, and junior William Fonner.
