EHS Hands St. Anthony Loss in Soccer

Effingham and St. Anthony battle during action Tuesday.
Effingham High School handed Effingham St. Anthony an 8-1 loss in soccer competition Tuesday.
Victor Carrillo led the Hearts with a whopping five goals. Also scoring were Cooper Jackson, Parker Siner and Tiago Stein with a goal each.
Moises Lemus scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs in the second half. Jack Elder had 12 saves.
St. Anthony was a winner in the junior varsity contest, 2-1. Elder scored a goal in each half.
Scoring for the Hearts was Macy Williamson at the beginning of the half on a breakaway. Brandon Duncan had three saves for the Hearts.
