VANDALIA -- Effingham St. Anthony traveled to Vandalia and blanked the Vandals 4-0 Tuesday evening.

St. Anthony's varsity scored the first three goals and played for 30 minutes in the first half. The last part of the first half and the rest of the second half was played by the junior varsity squad and they scored the final goal.

Charlie Schultz had a goal with an assist from Frank Jansen. Schultz then came back to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead with an assist from Patrick Martelli. Benton Hakman scored St. Anthony's third goal with an assist by Martelli. Francesco DeFillippii had the final goal with an assist by Nick Nosbisch.

The Bulldogs improve to 3-1 on the season and are back in action Thursday at Olney.
