Blackhawks Crown Kings

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Patrick Kane scored twice and added an assist as the Blackhawks downed the Kings 5-3 in Los Angeles. Nick Leddy had a goal and assist while Bryan Bickell and Marcus Kruger also scored.  Corey Crawford made 31 saves for Chicago, which had lost five out of six. Anze Kopitar had a goal and two helpers for Los Angeles while Tyler Toffoli added a goal and helper. Drew Doughty also lit the lamp and Jeff Carter had two assists. Jonathan Quick stopped 25 shots as the Kings lost their fourth straight.


Penguins Edge Sens In OT

(Pittsburgh, PA) -- James Neal scored almost two minutes into overtime to lift the Penguins to a 2-1 win over the Senators in Pittsburgh.  Brian Gibbons tied the game for the Pens with a power play goal late in the first, minutes after Ottawa had taken the lead. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 24 shots for Pittsburgh, which has won three out of four. The Sens' goal came from Stephane Da Costa while Craig Anderson made 46 stops in goal. Ottawa has lost two straight and four of its last six.


O'Reilly Sends Avs Past Devils In OT

(Newark, NJ) -- Ryan O'Reilly's tally in overtime sent the Avalanche to a 2-1 win over the Devils at the Prudential Center. Colorado had tied the game with less than two minutes to play in regulation on P.A. Parenteau's 10th goal of the year. Jean-Sebastien Giguere turned away 27 shots as Colorado won its fourth straight. Cory Schneider stopped 23 shots for New Jersey while Ryan Carter scored the lone goal late in the first period. The Devils have dropped four out of five.


Blue Jackets Double Up Ducks

(Anaheim, CA) -- Nick Foligno scored twice in the third to lead the Blue Jackets in a 4-2 win over the Ducks from the Honda Center. Ryan Johansen and R.J. Umberger also lit the lamp for Columbus while Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 34 shots in goal. The Jackets have won three straight and 11 of their last 14. Mathieu Perreault and Ryan Getzlaf each scored for Anaheim in the third period. Frederik Andersen made 29 saves as the Ducks dropped their third in four games.


Flyers Sink Sharks

(San Jose, CA) -- Claude Giroux had a goal and two assists to lead the Flyers in a 5-2 win over the Sharks in San Jose. Mark Streit, Matt Read, Michael Raffl and Jakub Voracek also scored for Philadelphia, which has won three out of four. Steve Mason turned away 20 shots in the win. Matt Nieto scored twice for San Jose while Antti Niemi allowed four goals on 23 shots before he was pulled. Alex Stalock filled in the rest of the way for the Sharks, who have lost four out of five


Blues Welcome Senators

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Blues enter tonight's home game having won four of their last five. The Blues host the Ottawa Senators. St. Louis has won three of its last four games and is 37-12-5. Ottawa is coming off an overtime loss last night to Pittsburgh.
