Dodgeball Tournament at Newton

Newton Elementary's PBIS Team is putting on its First Annual Dodgeball Tournament Friday, March 15 at 6 p.m. at Newton High School.

The tournament will be held at the NCHS gym. This is a double elimination tournament consisting of 14 teams with 12 players on each team. A third of the team must be of the opposite sex, for example if a team consists of eight males, then it will have to have four females. Prizes will be awarded for the winning team, best dressed and best team spirit.

Entry fee is $10 per player and is due by Friday, March 8. This tournament is for anyone that is a freshman in high school or older. Businesses and community members are encouraged to form teams. Forms may be picked up at the Newton Elementary School or NCHS office. To register a team or for more information, phone Amy Tarr or Kari Thompson at 783-8464.

Fans are encouraged to root on their favorite teams. Porkburgers and hotdogs along with concessions will be served at the event. Admission is $2 per person.
