St. Louis Blues Sign Mueller

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Blues signed 26-year-old center Peter Mueller to a one-year, two-way contract Tuesday. Mueller was selected eighth overall by the Arizona Coyotes in 2006 and scored 54 points in his rookie season. However a career plagued by injuries led to him playing for three different NHL teams in six seasons and most recently a season with the Swiss club, the Kloten Flyers. Mueller recorded 46 points in 49 games for the Flyers last season.
Ex-Blackhawks Forward Frolik Re-signs With Jets
(Winnipeg, Manitoba) -- Former Blackhawks forward Michael Frolik is staying on with the Winnipeg Jets, agreeing to a one-year deal. The Blackhawks dealt Frolik to the Jets in June of 2013 and he notched 15 goals in 81 games last season. He helped Chicago win the Stanley Cup in 2013.
