The Blackhawks will apparently have to pay up if they want to keep stars Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews in the fold. TSN reports the pair are each seeking around $12-million per year, nearly double their current contracts. Each are entering the final year of their contracts.

NHL Draft Set For Today

(Philadelphia, PA) -- The Blackhawks will look to add to the roster today at the NHL Draft in Philadelphia. The 'Hawks have the 27th overall pick in the first round. Chicago has a total of eight picks over the seven-round draft, which starts tonight at 6:00 and resumes tomorrow morning.

Blues Extend Berglund

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Blues are keeping forward Patrik Berglund around a bit longer. The two agreed to a three-year extension Thursday worth $11.1-million. Berglund had 14 goals and 18 assists in 78 games last season.
