Kings Take 3-1 Series Lead On Blackhawks

(Los Angeles, CA) -- The Los Angeles Kings are just one win away from reaching the Stanley Cup Final. Jake Muzzin, Marian Gaborik and Dustin Brown all scored in the first period as the Kings beat the Chicago Blackhawks 5-2 in Game Four of the Western Conference Final at Staples Center. Drew Doughty lit the lamp in the second and Tanner Pearson added an empty netter for LA, which takes a commanding 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven set. The Kings can advance to the Stanley Cup Final with a win in Game Five on Wednesday in Chicago. Jonathan Quick made 22 saves in the victory. Brandon Saad and Bryan Bickell both scored for Chicago. Corey Crawford allowed four goals on 20 shots in defeat.
