Free “Getting to Know Your Computer” Program at the Effingham Public Library 

Would you say that you or someone you know is not tech savvy nor computer literate but would like to learn more about using a computer?  Then the Library’s Technology Literacy 101 program Getting to Know Your Computer might just be for them or you.  Local IT consultant, Erich Metzelaars, will help to demystify the computer and make you feel just a bit more capable of using one. 

So many things are done from a computer today.  From doing taxes and applying for jobs, to buying goods and getting airplane tickets, so much of it is now done on a computer that learning to use one is no longer a luxury but a necessity.
