Library Hosts Grinch Story Time, Movie Event for Hometown Christmas

The Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library will join the Hometown Christmas celebration, hosted by the Effingham Downtown Business Group with two special programs for children and their families.

Saturday, November 30 at 10 a.m. the library will hold a special story time featuring the Dr. Seuss’ Christmas Classic The Grinch and an ornament craft in the Children’s Programming Room.

Then, at 1 p.m. a “Grinch Make and Take” will begin in the library’s Workman Room.  Participants will make a Grinch-themed craft and treat for children followed by a showing of The Grinch (2018) movie at approximately 1:30 p.m.

The Grinch movie (2018) PG runs 1h 32m.

No registration is required for either event.
