Local Sports Calendar

Ann Crooker St Clair Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, will be participating in the National DAR Day of Service. Members coast to coast will complete special service projects within their local communities as we unite to demonstrate the combined impact of our DAR mission. DAR was founded on the ideals of service & members have been dedicated to giving back to their communities through volunteer work ever since.

This year the Ann Crooker St Clair chapter has planned a "Fill the Wagon" Food Drive to benefit the Shumway Food Pantry. The event will be held October 12th from 2-6pm. We will be located in the parking lot on the corner of W. Fayette & Rinehart, across from the 1st Baptist Church, 213 W. Fayette, Effingham. We will be accepting non-perishable food items, toiletries, pet & baby items, as well as gently used clothing.

There will be a table set up with information about the Shumway Food Pantry & DAR. The chapter will be selling Effingham County Cemetery listing books & History Books also. The proceeds will go to the Chapter treasury to fund upcoming veteran projects.
