Day Holds Off Dubuisson For Match Play Title
(Marana, AZ) -- Australia's Jason Day needed 23 holes but held on for a win over France's Victor Dubuisson to win the WCG-Accenture Match Play Championship at Dove Mountain. Day never trailed in the final match but hadn't won a hole since the ninth before a birdie on the 23rd to claim the 1-up victory. Dubuisson fought back from three down over the back nine and came up with a few extraordinary shots to extend the match. It's Day's second PGA Tour title and first WGC victory. Rickie Fowler needed 19 holes for a 1-up win over Ernie Els in the consolation match.
