T-town Girls Nab Golf Win, Altamont Second In Triangular

SULLIVAN -- Teutopolis High School nabbed a girls golf victory over host Sullivan Thursday, 211-226.

Scoring for the Wooden Shoes were Madison Magee 49, Averie Bushue 50, Maggie Koester 55 and Mattie Thoele 57. Non-counting scores were Maddie Hoene 58, Allison Will 63, Allie Niebrugge 67 and Macy Vogt 71.

In the boys meet, Sullivan claimed the win 165-191.

Scoring for the Shoes were Dylan Buenker 43, Michael Deters 57, Carter Jansen 50 and Jacob Herd 51.

 

At Tuscola

Altamont competed in a triangular golf meet at Tuscola High School Thursday and finished in the middle of the pack.

Mount Zion won the meet with 194 followed by Altamont 200 and Tuscola 234.

Medalist was Altamont's Grand Schmidt with a 42. Also scoring for the Indians were Noah Kopplin 46, Harrison Fitzjarrald 54 and Nathan Hill 58.

Non-counters were Austin Wendling 63 and Garner Myers 68. Altamont is now 3-3 on the season.

Altamont's Addie Smith competed in the girls meet and finished third out of 13 golfers with a 56. Medalist was Tuscola's Sydney Hoel with a 47.
