EHS Scores Win Over Casey-Westfield

CASEY -- Effingham took a four-stroke victory over host Casey-Westfield Thursday, 158-162.

Anthony Lechman tallied a two-over-par 37 for medalist honors while teammate Jackson Wendling finished second with a three-over-par 38. Also scoring for the Hearts were Anthony Barrett 39 and Jake Linders 44. Non-scorers were Sean Sandifer 46 and Reed Schafer 50.

"Both of our Anthonys bounced back today with good rounds," said EHS Coach Jeff Schafer. "We have to be more focused the rest of the year from this point forward."

Scoring for Casey-Westfield were Brandon Glidewell 38, Chris Lee 39, Keygen Decker 42 and Nat Davidson 43. Non-scorers were Brandon Wolfe 55 and Kaleb Repp 62.

Effingham improves to 11-2 while Casey-Westfield dropped to 19-2.
