Due to severe storms late Friday night and into Saturday morning, Hickory Point Golf Course in Decatur was unplayable as of the scheduled start time for play and the status for the rest of the day is in doubt.

First-round play was not completed Friday due to multiple rain delays. First-round play was to resume at 7:30am Saturday and second-round play was to begin at 8:10am, but neither was possible. A status report is due at 10am.

The fairways of tournament holes one, six and nine were flooded with water as of 8am.

Jimin Kang finished her first round at eight-under 64 and currently leads the event by five strokes after four players that have completed round one at three-under 69.

There are 22 groups, 66 players, that did not complete round one Friday. One of those is Jaclyn Jansen of Effingham, who was in the last threesome to tee off hole one. Jansen is at one-under through nine holes.
