Mattoon Picks Up JV Win Over Bulldogs

Effingham St. Anthony hosted Mattoon in junior varsity boys golf action Tuesday at the Fore-Way Golf Course. Mattoon picked up the four-stroke win, 231-235.

Mattoon claimed the top two spots as Hyland and Godden scored 42s. St. Anthony was led by Jared Hutchison with a 43 followed by Sam Wortman 44, Nick Behl 48, Gus Koester 49 and Kyle Britton 51.

The squad returns to action Wednesday at Decatur St. Teresa.
