Effingham Second, St. Anthony Fifth in the Trojan Fall Classic

Effingham finished second and St. Anthony finished fifth in the Trojan Fall Classic Friday in Charleston.

Mattoon won the event with a 301 total. The Hearts were second with a 312 total and the Bulldogs totaled 324 shots.

Effingham's Callaway Smith finished second in the meet with a 73, while St. Anthony's Connor Greene finished third with a 74.

Here are the Effingham scores: Callaway Smith second with a 73, Jackson Wendling tied for fourth with a 75, Jake Linders tied for 15th with a 79, Reed Schafer tied for 36th with an 85, Sean Sandifer tied for 52nd with a 92, and Ryan Sandifer tied for 71st with a 101.

Here are the St. Anthony scores: Connor Greene third with a 74, Jared Hutchison and Sam Wortman tied for 26th each with an 83, Garrett Hixenbaugh tied for 30th with an 84, Nate Schmidt tied for 36th with an 85, and Jeff Niebrugge tied for 46th with a 90.
