EHS Girls Golf Falls To Charleston, St. A, Altamont JV Results

Charleston came calling and claimed a 178-187 girls golf victory over Effingham Thursday.

Charleston's Lauren Chappell was medalist with a 36. Also scoring were Morgan Sherwood 42, Aislin Parish 48 and Abby Youngblood 52. Non-counting scores were Ally O'Dell 53 and Hayley Walker 55.

Scoring for the Hearts were Morgan Wilson 41, Kaylee Tonn 44, Alex Brummer 50 and Madison Weis 52. Non-counting was Hope Collier 53.

At Taylorville

Taylorville tallied a victory over Effingham St. Anthony junior varsity and Pana in boys golf at the E.C.C. Lake Shore Golf Course Thursday.

Taylorville scored a 170 followed by Pana 189 and St. Anthony JV 198. Taylorville's Eric Dust was the medalist with a 38.

Leading St. Anthony was Mitchell Sager with a 45.

Altamont handed Teutopolis a 199-211 loss in junior varsity boys golf action at Cardinal Golf Course Thursday.

Medalist was T-town's Austin Weber with a 47. Scoring for Altamont were Luke Behl 48, Robert Davis 49, Logan Deadmond 50 and Dylan Miller 52. Non-counting scores were Noah Kopplin 57 and Austin Wendling 66

Scoring for the Shoes were Weber 47, Will Schlink 53, Jake Wente 55 and Joe Runde 56. Non-counting were Brandon Goeckner 58, Michael Deters 59 and Garrett Funneman 63.
