Team Spain Clinches First International Crown

(Owings Mills, MD) -- Spain is celebrating a victory in the first-ever LPGA International Crown after winning at Caves Valley Golf Club just outside Baltimore. Belen Mozo's birdie putt on the 16th hole helped push Team Spain past Thailand's Moriya Jutanugarn for a 3-and-2 victory. Spain finished with 15 points, four ahead of Sweden.

South Korea and Japan were next with ten points each while Thailand had nine. The United States was eliminated in a playoff on Saturday by South Korea.
