The Friends of St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital Sixth Annual Golf Benefit will be held Friday, July 18 at noon at the Effingham Country Club.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. Lunch will be served from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. with a dinner provided that evening. A shotgun start at noon begins the four-person scramble which consists of 32 teams of four players. There will be several contests throughout the event including a Hole-In-One Contest. Special features for this year’s event include videoing of your shot on Hole #8 with a YouTube link sent to your smart phone, along with one person in each foursome winning a $100 gift card to a local/regional food or service provider.

Proceeds from this year’s Golf Benefit will support St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital’s Women and Children’s Care department to enhancement the Labor/Delivery area. Proceeds will be used to transform current patient rooms to rooms with comprehensive, family-centered maternity care.

There are still openings to register a team for the Friends’ Golf Benefit. There are also a variety of sponsorships available with many levels to choose from.
