Bears Release Injury Report

(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Chicago Bears released their first injury report as they prepare to face the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night. Wide receiver Brandon Marshall did not practice yesterday due to a hamstring injury. Linebacker Lance Briggs was limited at practice. Head coach Marc Trestman says Briggs is day-to-day after missing the last eight weeks with a fractured shoulder.

The Chicago Bears have signed offensive tackle Joe Long from the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad. The contract is for two seasons.  Long joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Rams. He is brother is former number-one pick Jake Long of St. Louis and of Bears right guard Kyle Long.

 

Rams Look Ahead To Bucs

(Earth City, MO) -- The Rams are preparing for Sunday's home finale against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Rookie wide receiver Tavon Austin did not practice Wednesday and remains day to day. The Rams are 4-3 at home and 6-and-8 overall. Tampa Bay is 4-10.
