Bears' Cutler Expected To Start Sunday Against Lions

(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Bears expect to have quarterback Jay Cutler back under center for Sunday's home game against the Detroit Lions. Cutler has been out since suffering a groin injury in Week Seven against Washington. He was originally expected to miss four weeks. The Bears had a bye after the Redskins game and Josh McCown filled in for the Bears' Monday night win over Green Bay earlier this week.

Reeling Rams Clash With First Place Colts

(Indianapolis, IN) -- The St. Louis Rams are on the road this Sunday to clash with the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Rams are coming off a couple of near misses at home against the Seahawks and Titans the last two weeks. St. Louis has dropped three straight overall to slip to 3-6. Kellen Clemens has thrown for 387 yards, one TD and two picks since replacing the injured Sam Bradford at quarterback.  The Colts came back to beat Houston 27-24 on Sunday night. Indy has won two straight and five of its last six games to lead the AFC South at 6-2, two games ahead of the Titans.

The Rams got running back Zac Stacy back in practice Thursday after he missed Wednesday's practice. Stacy was limited with an ankle injury but is expected to play Sunday.  Safety T.J. McDonald hopes to return for Week 12, the "St. Louis Post Dispatch" reports. McDonald suffered a broken leg on September 26 and is doing light running.

Tony Dorsett Urges Calm Despite CTE Diagnosis

(Dallas, TX) -- Tony Dorsett wants Cowboys fans to not panic about his diagnosis of a degenerative brain condition.

Dorsett says people have misinterpreted a comment to ESPN where he admitted to have thought about suicide. The NFL Hall-of-Famer says he's too scared to actually commit suicide and wants people to stop worrying. Dorsett was recently diagnosed with chronic traumatic encephalopathy. He adds he's like "a hobo on a birthday cake" on taking care of his CTE because UCLA researchers told him they might be able to reverse it.
