Effingham JFL also had a friendly competitive contest for the cheerleaders to see which grade level could collect the most donations from the fans during their games with all donations going to Blessings in a Backpack. The fifth-grade collected $201.95, the sixth-grade $178.28, the seventh-grade $180.25 and the eighth-grade $201.95 for a grand total of $711.79 for Blessings in a Backpack.
